Scripts I’ve Read This Week Blog Post | November 3rd - November 10th
This was a really rough week for screenplays. I focused a lot of my energy on my first job as well as my side business and found myself a bit exhausted when it came time to read these screenplays on my list. I need to keep searching for strategies to find more time for this kind of reading and I have to admit that settling into it, I struggle with the digital format as opposed to the physical format.
Still, here are my thoughts this week on the script I read. I hope I can read more than this by next week. I started "The Truman Show" but found myself incredibly bored early on...
Lost In Translation — I liked the scene descriptions in this one a lot and I think this would be a great screenplay to turn to for some education on writing descriptions. Sofia Coppola seems to be known for this, based on other screenplays I’ve read about on blogs. I didn’t put two and two together that her father was famous in film at first, but that’s a cool piece of trivia to know now.
